Hello, my name is Daniel Rushing.  I teach choir and general music here at CMS.  I am entering my eleventh year of teaching, and nine have been at Coopertown .  I received my degree in Music Education from Lipscomb University in Nashville.  I also serve as the music minister at Main Street Church of Christ in Springfield.

I love to sing and have a passion for spreading the joy of music to as many people as I can.  One of my hobbies is singing barbershop harmony.  I have sung in several barbershop quartets and choruses over the years and have placed in the top 25 quartets in the world at the international championships.

I also enjoy spending time with my wife (Keri Beth), and our three daughters (Annie, Ellie, Ruthie).  They are the joy of my life.
