This weekend, Innovation Academy’s Epic Players delivered a wonderfully ghoulish and heartfelt production of Beetlejuice Jr.. From the first eerie notes of the opening number to the final number, the cast and crew presented an unforgettable experience brimming with exceptional talent.

This month, we’re proud to feature Leanne Morgan, a 1983 Jo Byrns High School graduate whose humor, heart, and Southern charm have made her a celebrated Stand-Up Comedian, Actress, and Bestselling Author.

Mrs. Chelsea Brown’s 2nd grade class got their Titan experience when Chimere Dike (#17) and Elic Ayomanor (#5) stopped by!
 

School Administrators and Department Supervisors will be on site to conduct interviews and discuss opportunities for all certified and classified positions. APSU and iTeach will be available to review transcripts for certified candidates.

This annual event is part of Tennessee’s statewide #FightFlu25 initiative to help reduce the spread of influenza in our communities.

Students of the Month for the Month of September 2025

Several staff members at Innovation Academy demonstrated their training and preparedness when responding to a medical emergency involving a colleague on Oct 2nd. Thanks to a scholar’s quick reporting of the situation, staff were able to provide immediate care, including CPR and use of an AED, until emergency responders arrived.

Our Greenbrier Elementary School community was the proud recipient of an incredibly generous donation from The Dollar General Literacy Foundation, Dollar General and Kellanova. Their generosity, highlighted by a $50,000 investment in student learning and school programs, will create lasting opportunities for both students and teachers.

The Tennessee Investment in Student Achievement (TISA) public school funding formula updates the way Tennessee funds public education to empower each student to read proficiently by third grade, prepare each high school graduate for postsecondary success, and provide resources needed for all students to ensure they succeed.
